Biography
Dr. Kadir Aslan received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Hacettepe University and Middle East Technical University, respectively in Ankara, Turkey. In 2003, he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He completed his post-doctoral studies in 2005 and was a Research Assistant Professor in 2005-2009 at the University of Maryland at Baltimore (formerly UMBI).
Research Interest
Nanotechnology: Plasmonics, Metal-Enhanced Fluorescence, Metallic Nanoparticles, Ultra Fast Surface Chemistry, Ultra Fast Nanoparticle-Based Assays, Metal-Assisted Crystallization.
