Biography
Joe E. Kiani is the founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Masimo Corporation. Mr. Kiani has held these positions since Masimo’s inception in 1989. Mr. Kiani is an inventor on more than 50 patents related to signal processing, sensors, and patient monitoring, including patents for the invention of motion and low-perfusion tolerant pulse oximetry. Prior to founding Masimo Corporation, Mr. Kiani served as regional technical manager for Anthem Electronics, and field applications engineer for Bell Industries, which distributed advanced semiconductor components
