Biography
Prior to his current role, Dan was the Executive Vice President of Operations for Tesoro Corporation with accountability for the refining, marketing, logistics and marine organizations. In addition, he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Tesoro Logistics LP. Before joining Tesoro, Dan held the positions of Vice President, Operations Integrity and Vice President, Technical Operations and Competence at Suncor Energy. Dan also worked for Petro-Canada as the General Manager of its Fort Hills syncrude operations, which merged with Suncor in 2009. Dan began his career with ConocoPhillips, serving the company through leadership positions in mid-stream, supply and trading, global specialty products, and refining during his 20-year tenure. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Montana State University.
