Biography
Sachal Badlani, MD, is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He is also an attending physician at Mount Sinai Queens. He received his medical degree from Grant Medical College in India. He then completed an internal medicine residency at Lincoln Hospital Center, Bronx followed by a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Badlani has more than 34 years of clinical experience including 24 years of caring for patients in Queens. His clinical interests include pulmonary medicine, preventive medicine and travel medicine. He conducts talks for patients in his office on topics including diabetes and hypertension management. He has volunteered at blood pressure screenings at various community festivals in Queens and volunteers at SHAREing & CAREing, a community-based support group for women living with breast and ovarian cancer. Dr Badlani is a member of the American Association of Indian Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.
