Biography
Ph.D. Analytical chemist with expertise in chromatography and electroanalytical chemistry. Knowledgeable in a wide range of instrumental techniques and GMP/ICH/FDA regulations. Industrial experience in the active pharmaceutical ingredient sector. Supervising / coaching a team of scientists and managing multiple projects to ensure appropriate methods, controls, and specifications are in place to support GMP production. Significant experience in writing, reviewing and executing analytical method validation protocols in accordance with industry standards. Very strong understanding of chromatographic and adsorption science theory and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge to develop robust, transferable analytical methods. Specialties: HPLC : RPLC, ion-exchange, IPCs, cleaning methods, API assay and impurity methods, chiral methods (reverse and normal phase), expert in electrochemically modulated liquid chromatography (EMLC), extremely strong chromatography knowledge. GC: residual solvent methods, genotoxic impurity methods, unknown identification by GC-MS, purity assays. Electrochemistry: EMLC, double layer theory, chronoamperometry, chronocoulometry, electrocapillary, electrosorption thermodynamics.
