Biography
Robert H. DeWit, PhD, DABT, is the President & Chief Executive Officer of MPI Research. Dr. DeWit has more than 25 years of global preclinical drug development and toxicology experience. Rob joins MPI Research after serving in leadership positions at the Southwest Michigan Innovation Center – first as president and CEO, then as Assistant Dean of Western Michigan University’s School of Medicine. Throughout his career Dr. DeWit has held scientific and leadership roles at Parke-Davis, The Upjohn Company, Pharmacia, and Pfizer, bringing robust industry experience to MPI Research. Rob is a graduate of Calvin College, he received his PhD from The University of Michigan, and is an active member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and both the national and regional chapters of the Society of Toxicology.
