Thomas M. Sack

Biography

    As MRIGlobal’s sixth President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Thomas M. Sack is responsible for all aspects of leading, managing, operating and developing MRIGlobal.With more than 30 years’ experience at MRIGlobal, Dr. Sack served in positions with increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President and Director of Technical Operations, Director of Chemical Sciences Division and Vice President of Midwest Operations for MRIGlobal. Dr. Sack received his bachelor of science degree (summa cum laude) in Chemistry from Rockhurst College; he also holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and joined MRIGlobal in 1985. Dr. Sack is a member of the American Chemical Society and has coauthored more than 50 publications and technical papers. Dr. Sack is an advocate for science education and serves on the Board of Directors of Science Pioneers, Kansas City and previously on the Executive Advisory Committee for FIRST Robotics, Kansas City Region. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Sustainable Energy and on the Institutional Advisory Committee of the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute.
