David J Melroy

Biography

 A Fender Stratocaster and interest in lighting and sound initially pushed David Melroy into electrical engineering. Since David’s start with MSA Engineering Consultants in the early 80s; his determination, attention to detail and leadership skills have facilitated the growth of the company. David is licensed as a professional engineer in over 40 states. He has designed a range of projects from mega resorts to healthcare facilities to commercial tenant spaces. David works from the firm’s multiple office locations including; Reno, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. Through the years David's leadership has developed strategic teams to provide MPE Engineering Design services. MSA Engineering Consultants have completed over 12,000 successful projects with over 1,300 clients nationwide. These projects have changed the look of many US cities as we have skillfully engineered millions of square feet of hospitality, education, healthcare, office space and tens of thousands of hotel guest rooms.  David provides both design and management supervision acting as principal in charge for the firm. His involvement begins with client contacts, contract negotiations and conceptual design. His principal in charge involvement provides critical oversight and addresses key issues to ensure that the firm meets and exceeds client expectations. All major design and business decisions performed by our teams are reviewed with David.
