Biography
J. William Freytag, Ph.D. has served as Chairman of our Board of Directors since January 2011 and has served as a member of our Board of Directors since March 2008. Dr. Freytag served as a member of the Board of Directors of ARCA biopharma, Inc., a publicly-traded biopharmaceutical company, from January 2009 to March 2011, serving as chair and a member of its compensation committee and its Lead Director from January 2009 to March 2011. Dr. Freytag served as a director of Immunicon Corp., a publicly-traded developer of diagnostic products, as well as a member of its compensation committee, from May 1998 until its merger with Veridex, LLC in June 2008.
