Biography
John joins Nanocomp with over 25 years of successful global leadership, business development and marketing in advanced materials and defense businesses. As Chief Commercial Officer, in partnership with Nanocomp’s senior leadership team, he leads the Company’s business strategic planning and its commercialization activities including customer portfolio management, marketing, sales, product management and new product introductions. Most recently, John was Director, Business Development & Strategy at Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems where he successfully developed and won high-value, proprietary international business opportunities. Prior to Raytheon, as Global Market Director for GE Plastics, John led the development and execution of market growth strategies in several industries within performance fibers, composites, and engineering thermoplastics. In addition to his extensive market growth & leadership roles, he has held positions in operations, application engineering, and corporate Six Sigma leadership. John holds a Bachelors degree in Biology & Marketing from Siena College and an MBA in Management of Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is Certified GE Master Black Belt and a Certified Raytheon International Capture Manager.
