Biography
Andrew Filler is vice president of intellectual property. He has expertise managing intellectual property across an array of technology and medical companies. At Nanosys, he manages one of the largest quantum dot patent porfolios with over 200 patents and applications. Under his leadership Nanosys has also inked complex licensing agreements with multinational companies including Samsung and LGIT.He previously served as chief intellectual property counsel at Caliper Technologies, senior associate attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, and director of intellectual property at Corvascular.He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and a J.D. from University of San Francisco Law School.
