Biography
Daniel C. Edelman (Ph.D.)is an investigator of Genetics Branch, Centre for Cancer Research and also holds the head position at Clinical Molecular Profiling Core, National Cancer Institute. By developing and implementing state-of-the-art genomic technologies, the Clinical Molecular Profiling Core (CMPC) maximizes the clinical benefits and biological insights derived from the analysis of biospecimens obtained from NCI clinical trials. To stay current with developing technologies, the Core includes a research and development component as part of its mission to innovate and develop new, cutting-edge applications that widen the applicability of genome technologies to clinically accessible samples. He has alsao many publications on his feild of interest.
Research Interest
1) Genomic technologies, 2) Biospecimen analysis, 3) Research & Clinical (CLIA), 4) Molecular Profiling Core (CMPC), 5) a robust and scientifically advanced laboratory program that would bring the tools of genome technology to bear on NCI intramural clinical trials.
