Dr. Bliskovsky heads the Genomics Core within the Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genomics (LCBG). His main research interests are genomics and bioinformatics. Currently, his primary project is investigating FRAP/mTOR structure and function. Graduated from Biology Faculty of Moscow State University Ph.D. from Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology Main interests: genomics, bioinformatics Main project: FRAP/mTOR structure and function Genomic Core: The LCBG Genomics core (http://gc.nci.nih.gov) was established to provide assistance to the laboratory, and CCR when appropriate, with respect to a variety of genomic applications including, but not limited to, database mining, SNP identification, marker development, experimental design for cloning projects, sequencing and sequence analysis. The Genomics core researches and conducts trials of software products and web-based services necessary for its functions. We also utilize multiple software packages and services available through the NIH and NCI licenses and provide assistance for the researchers using or planning to use these products.
