Biography
Andrew R. Novo is an Associate Professor of Strategic Studies at the National Defense University, Washington, DC. He studied classics at Princeton University before getting a master’s degree in international relations and a PhD in modern history from St. Antony’s College, the University of Oxford. Dr. Novo has taught at Georgetown University and lectured at the University of Cyprus, the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, and the National Arts Club in New York. Dr. Novo worked as a researcher at Harvard Business School. He is the author of two books, When Small Countries Crash (2011) detailing financial crises in small economies and Queen of Cities (2010), a historical novel on the fall of Constantinople. Dr. Novo is also a participant in the US Speaker Program run by the Department of State.
