Biography
Captain Corey W. Ray joined the NWC faculty in 2016. He was commissioned through Aviation Officer Candidate School, designated a Naval Flight Officer in 1992, and qualified as a Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) in the P-3C Orion. Capt Ray’s shore and staff assignments include instructor duty at VP-30, Weapons and Tactics Instructor at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center, Action Officer at OPNAV N3 directorate, N3 at Task Force 72 in Japan, and CENTCOM Desk Officer at the National Reconnaissance Office. He also served on The Joint Staff in Washington, D.C. in the Directorate for C4 and Cyber (J-6). He attended the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy where he earned a Master’s Degree in National Resource Strategy. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal and various campaign and unit awards.
