Lisa Dunbar

Biography

Lisa Dunbar, Ph.D., is a scientific review officer at the Office of Scientific Review (OSR). She oversees the review of a wide range of grant mechanisms including scientific projects and training and workforce development programs. Lisa joined NIGMS as a PRAT (Pharmacology/Postdoctoral Research Associate Trainee) fellow and completed postdoctoral training at NIDCD/NIH. She earned a B.A. from Bennington College and a Ph.D. in cell biology from Yale University. Her responsibilities include reviews for NIGMS special initiatives such as MIRA, program projects, workforce development and diversity programs, and IDEA state initiatives.
