Biography
Oleg Yakimenko was Professor and Director of the Autonomous Systems Engineering and Integration Lab at SE & Aerodynamic Decelerator Systems Center at MAE in Department of Systems Engineering & Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. AIAA Outstanding Leadership and Service Citation, 2008 and NRC Senior Fellowship for Scientific and Technological Exchange, 2000.
Research Interest
Research Interest in Guidance, Navigation and Control of Satellites, Unmanned Air, Surface and Underwater Vehicles, Guided Weapons and Parachutes, Cooperative Control and Combat, Maneuvering of Multi-Vehicle Formations, Orbital / Flight Mechanics and Real-Time Trajectory Optimizationm Avionics and Flight Controls and Modeling and Simulation of Combat Systems.
