Biography
Susan M. Sanchez is a Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, California. Her home is the Operations Research Department, where she has served terms as Associate Chair for Instruction and Associate Chair for Research. She also has a joint appointment in the Graduate School of Business & Public Policy, and an affiliation with the MOVES Institute. Dr. Sanchez teaches courses in simulation analysis and statistics, and has served on thesis committees for over 50 students on a variety of topics in defense and homeland security.
Research Interest
Professor Sanchez's research interests include design of experiments, data-intensive statistics, and robust selection, with applications to simulation experiments, military operations, manufacturing, and health care.
