Biography

Dr. Huntley has taught at the Naval Postgraduate School since 2009, and currently holds a joint appointment in the National Security Affairs department and the Cyber Academic Group. He is also Academic Director for the NPS Regional Security Education Program (RSEP), and co-designer and instructor of a specialized intelligence tradecraft course hosted by NPS for Department of Energy nuclear weapons technical specialists. Previously Dr. Huntley was Director for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Research in the Liu Institute for Global Issues at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada; Associate Professor at the Hiroshima City University Peace Institute in Hiroshima, Japan; and Director of the Global Peace and Security Program at the Nautilus Institute in Berkeley, California.

Research Interest

Wade Huntley has worked in consultative roles engaging officials and experts on a range of global security issues, specializing in scenarios generation for future-oriented examinations of near-term policy challenges
