Biography
As an Associate Director in Navigant's Global Energy practice, Abbas Abed brings more than 30 years of experience. He has assisted clients in matters regarding power system planning, transmission and generation expansion plans, congestion evaluation and mitigation, and state-of-the-art voltage-source devices (Statcoms and UPFC's). He has analyzed, reviewed, and supervised a variety of transmission planning studies. He has also helped clients with their interconnection applications, interconnection agreements, and power purchase agreements. He has provided expert witness testimony before the California Public Utilities Commission.
