Biography
Daniel Franklin is an Associate Director in the Global Constructionpractice. He has a decade of combined experience in dispute resolution, engineering, construction, contracts management and project controls. With a heavy focus in project controls and extensive experience in cost management, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise as a consultant providing services to owners, contractors, and counsel. Daniel has held integral roles on multi-billion dollar projects interfacing with senior project management and client’s project management. His project experience ranges from highway, rapid-transit(metro), and tunnels to hospitals, nuclear power plants, hydro-electric power stations, hazardous waste remediation facilities and foreign government infrastructure master planning projects among others. The roles and responsibilities for the positions he has held have included all aspects of managing self-performed work, contractors, craft personnel, and professional staff much of which was gained through on-the-ground management of project costs and schedule working for contractor’s in the USA, Canada, and Africa in various contractual environments including Lump Sum, Cost Plus, Unit Price, Cost Reimbursable and GMP.
