Tony Farrow

Biography

  Operating at corporate level in the offshore sector, Tony lead the project controls functions for an international O&G organization. He regularly supervised multi-discipline project reviews on FPSO, Semi-Submersible and other offshore structures being built throughout Asia, the Middle East and in Brazil. In addition, he was involved in bid reviews and engaged in project commercial issues such as delays, cost overrun s, claims and disputes – both with clients and yards. Tony qualified as a quantity surveyor in 1978 and subsequently worked within a broad commercial environment within the international project management field, dealing with claims, litigation, commercial issues and trouble shooting. He has also developed planning, cost management and contract management procedures and project execution improvements for international projects, including Gate Review processes.
