William R. Nuti

Biography

 Mr. William R. Nuti, also known as Bill, has been the Chairman of the Board at NCR Corporation since October 1, 2007 and its Chief Executive Officer since August 7, 2005. Mr. Nuti has been an Executive Director of NCR Corporation since August 7, 2005 and served as its President from August 7, 2005 to October 2016. He joined NCR in 2005 and is credited with the reinvention of it, transforming the way consumers connect, interact and transact with business. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division from December 30, 2003 to August 1, 2005 and served as its Chief Operating Officer from July 2002 to December 2003. He had overall responsibility for Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division's global sales operations, engineering, global systems services and human resources functions and the product business units. He joined Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division in 2002 following a 10-year career at Cisco Systems, Inc., where he held a number of global leadership positions. He served as Head of Cisco's U.S business at Cisco Systems, Inc., until 2002. He served in management positions at IBM, Network Equipment and Technologies and Netrix Corp. He served as Senior Vice President of EMEA Operations at NetSys Technologies. At Cisco Systems, Inc., Mr. Nuti served as the Senior Vice President of U.S. Theatre and Worldwide Service Provider Operations, responsible for field operations, systems engineering, professional services and marketing for the global service provider arena. He was responsible for more than $15 billion of Cisco's global revenue stream. He served as Senior Vice President of their United States operations as well as their Senior Vice President of their global service provider business at Cisco. Earlier, he served as the President of Cisco's Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. He served at Opus360 Corp. He directed the service provider sales operation in EMEA and oversaw Cisco's investment in strategic alliances, joint ventures and acquisitions throughout EMEA. Mr. Nuti has been a Director of United Continental Holdings, Inc. since December 4, 2013 and Coach, Inc. since May 2014. He serves as a Director at United Airlines, Inc. He served as a Director of Sprint Corporation from June 2008 to July 10, 2013. He served as a Director of Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Division from December 30, 2003 to August 1, 2005. He is a Member of the Georgia Institute of Technology advisory board and a Long Island University Trustee. Mr. Nuti holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Long Island University.
