Carol A. Grant

Biography

Carol A. Grant comes to New York Associates in Gastroenterology after working as an Attending Gastroenterologist and Division Chief at the NY Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center. When she moved to the Bronx, Dr. Grant became an Assistant Professor of Medicine the Weiler Division of Montefiore Medical Center where she took care of patients and taught gastroenterology to doctors in training. Dr. Grant was born and raised in Jamaica, WI where she attended York Castle High School in St. Ann. When she came to US, she received her BS degree in Biology from City College of NY and MD degree from UMNDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1993. Dr. Grant completed her internship and residency at the Jacobi Hospital Center and Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Grant served for four years as the Co-Medical Director of NYGI Endoscopy Center where she focused on expanding colon cancer screening to the uninsured. Dr. Grant is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She is committed to providing outstanding patient care with a personal touch.
