Biography
Dr. Howard I. Sherman graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his post graduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is on staff at the Weiler Division of Montefiore Medical Center and holds the title of Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a board certified gastroenterologist. Dr. Sherman has been named to Castle Connolly’s list of best doctors in the New York region and is also recognized in the best doctors listing in U.S. News and World Report. His name has appeared in New York Magazine’s list of best gastroenterologists in New York. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and a member of the American Association for the study of Liver Diseases.
