Research Interest
Dr. Robert Davidson joined the faculty at NYU College of Dentistry in 1996, and was Chairman of the Department of Periodontics from 2000-2005. Since then, he has focussed his efforts primarily towards teaching in the predoctoral curriculum, in both clinical as well as didactic educational programs. His teaching areas include Periodontal Diagnostics, Pathogenesis and Treatment Planning, and Therapeutics, and most recently, he has developed an interest in the application of E-learning to these disciplines in the dental school curriculum.
