Biography

 Stephen W. Zimmerman, MD is a Scientific Advisor at Next Generation Clinical Research Consulting Inc. Dr. Zimmerman is a Partner at Madison Area Renal Specialists a private Nephrology practice. He has over 30 years of clinical practice, research, and teaching experience in a variety of positions. At the University of Wisconsin, Madison, he served as Director of the peritoneal and hemodialysis programs, Director of the clinical nephrology program and Medical Director, Head, and Clinical Service Chief of the nephrology section. He has published extensively and has served on the editorial boards of Peritoneal Dialysis International, Advances in Renal Replacement Therapy. He serves as Member of Advisory Board at Next Generation Clinical Research Consulting Inc. Dr. Zimmerman is an Ad Hoc reviewer of a number of publications including the Journal of American Society of Nephrology and the American Journal of Kidney Diseases. Dr. Zimmerman received Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is board certified Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
