Biography
Ms. Lane retired in 2002 as managing director and group leader of the global Retailing Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., an investment banking firm. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 1997, she was a managing director at Salomon Brothers, Inc., an investment banking firm, where she founded and led the retail industry investment banking unit, having joined Salomon Brothers in 1989. Ms. Lane is a director of the TJX Companies, Inc., (since 2005), GNC Holdings, Inc. (since 2011) and is a trustee of Urban Edge Properties, an equity real estate investment trust (since January 2015). Ms. Lane has been a director of NextEra Energy, Inc. since 2015.
