Nia K. Terezakis

Biography

  Dr. Terezakis has more than 30 years of private dermatological practice experience in the New Orleans area. She is an active lecturer both nationwide and abroad on clinical, surgical and cosmetic issues. Dr. Terezakis has published several articles and original research pieces and has been instrumental in developing new and innovative preparations for the treatment of hair loss in women as well as men, and also developed products for treating acne, sun damaged skin, scars, and skin discolorations. Dr. Terezakis has also developed a surgical procedure with a Gillette razor blade for pitting scars and for lumpy bulbous noses.  She holds clinical faculty appointments at both Tulane and Louisiana State Universities.
