Karthik Balakrishnan

Biography

 Dr. Karthik Balakrishnan is the CEO of Nodexus Inc. Dr. Balakrishnan helped develop the Nodexus core technology in graduate school, prior to which he studied Mechanical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena. He has extensive experience in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research involving mechanical engineering, biology, fluidics, circuits, and mathematical modeling and has also been involved in several projects dealing with solving business and technology management problems. Dr. Balakrishnan’s vision is to apply device design and engineering to solve medical problems and to develop commercial solutions to improve patient outcomes.
