Biography

Mr. Jeffrey W. Jones, also known as Jeff, CPA has been the President of Corporate Payment Systems for U.S. Bank at U.S. Bancorp since September 21, 2015. Mr. Jones served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Vail Resorts Development Company. He joined Vail Resorts in September 2003, as Senior Vice President and served in that capacity until November 18, 2003. He served as the President of Lodging, Retail and Real Estate at Vail Resorts Inc. from June 2012 to December 31, 2012, served as its Chief Financial Officer from November 18, 2003 to December 31, 2012, Chief Accounting Officer until October 6, 2008, Senior Executive Vice President since February 2006, Senior Vice President from November 18, 2003 to February 2006 and its Director from June 2, 2008 to November 29, 2012. He also served as its Co-President since January 2011 and was responsible for all of Vail Resorts' finance, accounting and purchasing, internal audit and investor relations functions. He held chief financial officer positions with Clark Retail Enterprises and Lids Corporation. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Clark Brands, LLC from June 1999 to September 2003. From June 1998 to June 1999, he was Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Lids Corporation. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Jones served as a Vice President and Controller and Vice President of Finance, Real Estate and Administration at Clark Refining and Marketing, Inc. Prior to 1994, he worked in several corporate positions, including Controller, Treasurer and Vice President-Controller of Dairy Mart Convenience Stores, Inc. He serves as Chairman of iPCS Wireless, Inc. He has been an Independent Director of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. since July 21, 2014 and as its Lead Independent Director since January 18, 2017. He has been an Independent Director of Diamond Resorts International, Inc. since May 19, 2015. He has been a Director of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, Inc. since December 2013. Mr. Jones has been an Lead Independent director and Independent Director of Noodles & Company since July 26, 2017 and September 2013 respectively. He has been an Independent Director of iPCS, Inc. since July 1, 2005. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of U.S. Bancorp. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of US Bank and is Executive in Residence at the Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder (South Boulder Little League). In his early career, from 1984 to 1988, he was a member of the public accounting profession, serving as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Jones served as Director of Horizon PCS Inc. since September 2004. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Jones graduated with BA in Accounting and American Studies summa cum laude from Mercyhurst College.
