Biography
Dr. Patel is a graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Patel then completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Patel is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He practices inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiology, diagnostic coronary angiography, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, and cardiac computed tomography. Dr. Patel has been actively involved in multiple publications and clinical research projects. Dr. Patel is married with two children. He enjoys volunteering in the community, spending time with his family, and traveling.
