Biography
Lasse Hodne presently working as professor in Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Department of Arts and Media Studies. His major area of interest is Iconography of Italian and European art from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Other areas of interest: Marian iconography, typology, the contrast between sacred and secular portraits of the Renaissance, neuroaesthetics, fascist aesthetics and caricatures / cartoon controversy.
