Biography
Chris Schweitzer joined Nova-Tech as the Operations Manager in 2007. As the Vice President of Operations, he is responsible for development and continual monitoring of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the manufacturing processes within the facility. He also plays a role in the equipment commissioning, including equipment specification, installation and operation. Chris oversees the day-to-day operations in the facility and supervises the Production, Packaging and Labeling, and Material system staff. Prior to joining Nova-Tech, he was employed at Schering-Plough (Merck) and STRECK Laboratories; in his 15 plus years of manufacturing experience, all but one have been in animal health pharmaceuticals. Chris earned his biology degree from Chadron State College and completed the University of Nebraska Medical Center's biomedical research (BRIN) program.
