Marcia Kayath

Biography

 Marcia received her medical degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. After her residency in internal medicine and endocrinology, she earned a doctoral degree in endocrinology at the Federal University of São Paulo and a postdoctoral degree in endocrinology and bone metabolism from the University of California, San Francisco. She also has a Master’s in Business Administration. Marcia began her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1998, after several years as an associate researcher at the Federal University of São Paulo. She held positions at Eli Lilly and Pfizer as a medical director, with major focus on clinical development, medical affairs, and pharmacoeconomics in several therapeutic areas including endocrinology, metabolism, intensive care, women’s health, men’s health, and oncology.
