Biography
Merrick McCracken is Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Alcon. Mr. McCracken joined Alcon in January 2010. His background includes more than 20 years of global human resources leadership experience acquired in corporate, divisional, regional and affi liate roles with Fortune 100 biopharmaceutical companies. Mr. McCracken began his career in Montreal, Canada in the airline industry and after a three-year period, joined BristolMyers Squibb. In 2001, Mr. McCracken joined Wyeth as Vice President, Human Resources, Intercontinental, supporting Wyeth businesses in Asia Pacific and Latin America. He went on to serve in various global senior human resources positions including Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Vice President for North America, Corporate Vice President of Global Talent Management and Leadership Development and Vice President Manufacturing. Mr. McCracken obtained his degree in economics and industrial relations from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
