Biography
Professor Dunbar has been at Stern for more than 30 years. He is interested in how managers support organizational stability and also facilitate change. He is particularly interested in sensemaking processes in organizations and how framing processes constrain meaning and the use of narrative enables learning and adaptation.
Research Interest
Organization Studies and a member of the editorial boards of Strategic Management Journal and Academy of Management Learning & Education.
