Biography
Professor Bowmaker's main research interests are the economics of the family, sports economics, and teaching and research in economics. He has published three books, Economics Uncut: A Complete Guide to Life, Death and Misadventure (2005), The Heart of Teaching Economics: Lessons from Leading Minds (2010), and The Art and Practice of Economics Research: Lessons from Leading Minds (2012). He is currently working on his latest book, Economics in the White House: Conversations with Policymakers, which is under contract with MIT Press.
