Biography
Dr. Ripper has a Doctor of Nurse Practice with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She has expanded this certification to work within Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine and assist in Critical Care. She is currently the Interim Director of the Nurse Practitioner Program at Oakland and Full Time Adjunct Instructor. She is a member of several nursing organizations including Sigma Theta Tau, ANCC, MICNP, NLN, ANA and NONPF. She is currently the Nurse Practitioner liaison for Livonia Schools for students with autism and for a local theater group. Dr. Ripper is working inter-professionally with the Beaumont –Oakland University School of Medicine with Standardized Patients, Bad News Seminar, and Talk Back. Dr. Ripper is also working with Sienna Heights School of Business with research end of life care and continuing research in Bronchial Thermoplasty and Pain Control within the Pulmonary, Critical Care patient.
