Biography

Dr. Gould joined the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine faculty in July 2013 as a tenured Professor. He teaches neuroscience and gross anatomy to medical students and is Vice Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences. He joined OUWB School of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he was a Professor and the Director of the Division of Anatomy for six years. Before that, Dr. Gould was an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine for nine years. Prior to that Dr. Gould worked at Central Michigan University and Oakland Community College. His scholarly endeavors have focused on the design, creation, implementation and evaluation of learning tools for the modern medical student. He has secured support from the NIH, NSF and private foundations for research endeavors.
