Biography

Brian Besong joined the Philosophy faculty at Ohio Dominican University in 2016. His research has focused primarily on ethics and the nature of knowledge, and he has published on the implications of moral disagreement, the role of a well-formed conscience in justifying our moral beliefs, as well as the virtue of prudence according to St. Thomas Aquinas, among other areas. His publications have appeared in the journals Synthese, International Philosophical Quarterly, Journal of Value Inquiry, and American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly.
