Biography
Matthew Conley, Ph.D., is an associate professor of Education. Dr. Conley joined Ohio Dominican University in the fall of 2005. He works in the Early Childhood Program, teaches reading and literacy courses K-12, and teaches in the Master's of Education program. Prior to teaching at the college level, Dr. Conley taught Early and Middle Childhood Education, and Gifted and Talented Education in the public schools. Dr. Conley's research interests include diversity and equity education in the preparation of teachers as well as emergent literacy practice. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Educational Research Association, the National Association of Multicultural Educators and the International Reading Association. Dr. Conley holds Master of Art degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a PhD in Language, Literacy and Culture from The Ohio State University.
