Biography

Erin Fenzel is an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Clinical Coordinator of ODU's Physician Assistant Studies Program. Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Mississippi in 2001. At Ole Miss she was a manager for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams for four years earning a varsity letter and membership into the “M-Club.” She completed her Physician Assistant Studies earning a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the former Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in 2003. Erin Fenzel has spent most of her clinical career working as a mid-level provider at Sunrays Cardiology. She provides quality cardiac care for underserved patients in an inner city clinic in downtown Columbus. Erin enjoys working with heart failure patients and providing essential patient education. She is also an advocate for women’s heart disease and awareness. She is also working with her supervising physician to collect data for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation with the American College of Cardiology. Erin is originally from Elyria but moved the Columbus area to start her Physician Assistant career. She is a wife and mother of two children. She enjoys running, swimming, reading and spending time with her family. She loves exploring Columbus and taking advantage of all the wonderful parks, dining and shopping the city has to offer.
