Biography
Dr. Kate Fishley is an assistant professor of Education. She joined Ohio Dominican University in the fall of 2013. Dr. Fishley is the Intervention Specialist program director. She also teaches Special Education courses for K-12. Prior to teaching at the college level, Dr. Fishley was a high school intervention specialist in the public schools. Dr. Fishley's research interests include using behavior analytic methods to teach academic, self-management, and transition skills to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Her specific interests lie in vocabulary acquisition, development, and generalization with middle and high schools students. Dr. Fishley holds a Master of Education degree in Special Education and a Ph.D. in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, from Ohio State University.
