Biography
Dr. Bryce Murray, a native of Oklahoma, Dr. Murray graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where he majored in biochemistry. He earned his medical degree in 2004 from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa. Dr. Murray completed his residency in general surgery in 2009 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he served as Chief Resident. Following completion of his residency, Dr Murray held the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern/VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. In 2011 he returned to Tulsa to serve as Assistant Professor of Surgery for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Research Interest
Dr. Murray has special interests in laparoscopic and robotic surgery and their application in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and colon and rectal cancer. He is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Southwestern Surgical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Association of VA Surgeons and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
