Mr. John E. Fischer

Biography

 Mr. John E. Fischer has been the President of Olin Corporation since May 4, 2014 and has been its Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since April 27, 2017 and May 1, 2016 respectively. Mr. Fischer served as the Chief Operating Officer of Olin Corporation since May 4, 2014 to May 1, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Olin Corporation since May 2005 until May 4, 2014 and its Senior Vice President since October 2010 until May 4, 2014. He served as a Controller at Olin Corporation from August 2004 to May 2005 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as a Vice President of Olin Corporation since January 2004 until October 2010. He served as Vice President of Finance at Olin Corp., since January 2004 He had been a business consultant to Olin and others and also involved in a number of private business ventures. Mr. Fischer was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Primex Technologies, Inc., since until Primex was purchased by General Dynamics in 2001. Mr. Fischer was the Corporate Controller of General Defense Corporation, a publicly traded company which Olin acquired in 1990. He subsequently worked for Olin for six years as Financial Officer for the Ordnance Division. He has been an Executive Director of Olin Corporation since 2016. Mr. Fischer graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics and received a Master's degree in Finance from Penn State.
