Biography
The board of directors of OM Group Inc. has named Joseph M. Scaminace as the company’s president and CEO. Scaminace, who will also join the company’s board of directors, succeeds James P. Mooney, 57, who stepped down as OM’s CEO in January. Frank E. Butler, OM’s interim CEO since January, will return to his post as nonexecutive chairman of the board. Previously with The Sherwin-Williams Company for 22 years, Scaminace has served as that company’s president and chief operating officer, and as a board member since 1999.
