Biography
Amir Dan Rubin is the President and CEO of One Medical Group. Amir was formally Executive Vice President of Optum/UnitedHealth Group and its Optum health services organization to help people live healthier lives and to help make the health system work better for everyone. As Executive Vice President Optum, CEO Optum Care, CEO Optum CSG Population Health Services and CEO Optum360, Amir works with a team of dedicated staff and physicians to deliver better health and coordinated care. Amir previously served as President and CEO of Stanford Health Care, the academic health system affiliated with Stanford University in California. Prior to Stanford, Amir served as Chief Operating Officer for the UCLA Health System in Los Angeles, Chief Operating Officer for Stony Brook University Hospital in New York, Assistant Vice President for Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Texas, and health care management consultant with APM in San Francisco. In 2014, Amir was recognized with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Northern California amongst Large Companies. Amir earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration as well as a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
