Biography
Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Food Science, specializing in dietetics from the University of Arizona in 1993 and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in 2004. Prior to her physician assistant career, she worked as a Human Nutrition Instructor at Yavapai College and Pima Community College and also worked as a Therapeutic Dietitian for Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Arizona. Karen worked for the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix from 2005 to 2015 in both the Division of Endocrinology and the Bone Marrow Transplant Team within the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology
