Nikhilesh N. Singh

Biography

 Dr. Nikhilesh N. Singh, Ph.D., serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at OrphoMed, Inc. He served as the Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since completion of the merger between TPI and Novacea in January 2009. Dr. Singh founded Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and served as its Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President since January 2007. He served as Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of Paratek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. until October 30, 2014. He served as Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of TPI from July 2003 to December 2006. Dr. Singh holds B.S and M.S in Pharmacy from University of Bombay, India and also holds Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Alberta, Canada.
